Put bluntly: I make wireframes, user flows, and design specifications that aim to bring ideas to life in a way that's intuitive for users.As a UX Director / Product Designer, I help teams solve complex problems in order to make great user experiences. I believe in a close connection between technology and design. I leverage a long-standing relationship with coding in order to inform meaningful designs. I've studied fine art & design, worked as a web and app engineer, worked in creative/strategic marketing roles, and found a home in UX Design as the way to combine these perspectives. I have led engineering teams in the days of Flash, founded & built an e-commerce startup (carthook.com), and lead the UX Team at Anki through Drive, Overdrive, and Cozmo launches. Most recently I have been working with aerospace & astronomy companies, where I've tested my on exciting new frontiers.Success to me is not only creating amazing experiences, but above all, being a good person.
