My law firm experience before 2000 concentrated on financial and corporate litigation, including high profile, multi-jurisdictional matters -- hostile takeovers, proxy fights, consumer fraud class actions, director liability claims, SEC investigations, securities class actions and shareholder derivative claims at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and then at Hedlund, Hanley & John, a 23-lawyer corporate litigation boutique.My international experience includes work with companies and regulators in Japan, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, France, the European Union, and Canada.I like to spend time analyzing and simplifying methods for delivering legal and financial services.
