Mr. Helm grew up in Zephyrhills, Florida. His path to law school was anything but traditional, but it provided him with the determination, dedication and desire to overcome anything that life throws at him. As a child, he developed a taste for competition; receiving a variety of athletic, musical, and scholastic achievements. He continued to pursue excellence throughout high school, receiving honors in both academics and athletics. After graduation, he became the youngest athletic coach in his county by accepting an offer to coach football and wrestling with a local high school. In three short years Mr. Helm qualified several young men for the national and state wrestling tournaments, and helped coached the football team to the three most successful years in school history.Mr. Helm left education for the Police Academy. Graduating with top honors, he accepted a position with a local police department that provided him with a variety of opportunities including: patrol, training, traffic, narcotics, and K-9. Mr. Helm continued serving the community while finishing his degree. In May of 2011 He became the first person in his family to graduate from college by earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida. Shortly thereafter, he resigned as a decorated K-9 handler to pursue a life-long calling in the study of law.Graduating with honors from Liberty University School of Law, Mr. Helm also served as the Editor-in-Chief for the Liberty University Law Review and was the National Runner-up in the 2015 Moot Court Tax Tournament for the Liberty Moot Court Team.Mr. Helm shares his life with his beautiful wife Rachel and their three amazing boys, Cael, Corbin, and Cullen. He loves spending his very limited free time watching his boys wrestle and doing anything else with his family.
