Over the past 33 years, Charles Herington has distinguished himself as a global brand builder and network marketer in premier consumer facing multinational enterprises.A Chemical Engineer by trade, Mr Herington spent his first 15 years with Procter & Gamble and Pepsico, where he acquired his passion for building brands and people. He started his career in Brand Marketing and progressed to become Division President of a $1 Billion+ business with PepsiCo. During the following 15 years, he pioneered and became an expert in engaging and influencing large, on line and off line, communities. Specifically, he joined America Online Latin America as President & CEO, where he was founder and led a successful IPO, and then joined Avon where he became President of Emerging and Developing markets, leading a business of US $8 Billion in revenues and a network of nearly 5 million independent representatives.Impacted by the change that he witnessed Avon had on the lives of women, and committed to improving the lives of people around the globe, he joined Zumba Fitness as President of Global Operations and Vice Chairman. Zumba is a fitness company operating in 180+ countries with a growing community of 15 Million+ people that take a Zumba class at least once per week. He aspires to persuade 100 million people to become active and healthy by "ditching the workout, and joining the party"! In 2003, Mr Herington joined the boards of Molson Coors Brewing Co, and NII Hldgs, where he obtained board and committee experience given his participation in audit, compensation, nominating, and corporate governance committees. He also sits on the board of HyCite a privately held Direct Sales company, Klox Technologies a Canadian BioTech company, and is a Trustee of the Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart.Mr Herington has lived and operated in several different geographies, thriving by leveraging diversity across all continents and cultures.
