Additionally, I compiled and distributed daily news clips on state and federal policy developments as they apply to safety-net programs and economic stability, and identified and promoted policies to improve opportunities for low-income Americans.As a Political Affairs Intern at The Borgen Project, I worked to increase federal funding for international humanitarian aid, mobilized constituents to contact their political leaders, presented information on global poverty statistics, and launched a successful social media fundraising campaign to raise awareness about global poverty.I am a collaborative team player with strong communication skills, and I thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
