Provided facilities maintenance leadership for four Amgen pharmaceutical facilities, which included responsibility for various hard and soft services for the different sites. These sites included administrative office space in Mississauga, Ontario CN, a R&D facility in Cambridge, MA, a manufacturing facility in West Greenwich, RI, and a distribution warehouse in Louisville, KY. Managed a staff, which included a Facility Manager, an Operations Manager, a Chief Engineer, and 2 Assistant Facility Managers.

Provided leadership for the manufacture of osteobiologic medical device products. Also responsible for EH&S, Purchasing, Customer Service, Shipping and Receiving, as well as Facility and Equipment Engineering and Maintenance.

Provided technical support for the Radiopharmaceutical Manufacturing organization to include troubleshooting of product/process related problems, and qualification/validation of suppliers, materials, and processes.

Leadership and management of 10cc Multi-Dose Vial (Tl-201, Ga-67, Sm-153), Technetium-99m Generator, and Xenon-133 Radiopharmaceutical Manufacturing Operations. Routinely produced four, short-lived, diagnostic-imaging agents and one therapeutic agent. Managed an organization of sixty people, comprised of four work groups, four first line Supervisors and one Project Specialist, with operations spanning 24 hours/7 days per week. Responsible for four manufacturing facilities contained within two buildings, and a working inventory of $5-10 million. Budgeted for salaries and expenses (>$2 million annually), managed to budget, reported highlights/exceptions, and tracked and reported manufacturing quality metrics. Investigated safety and quality incidents and implemented appropriate corrective actions. Worked closely with Production Planning, Product Support, Process Support, Technical Support, Quality, Human Resource and Facility Maintenance organizations.
