* The Role * This role centred on managing media procurement for two key business divisions in China, including formulating and implementing procurement strategies based on market analysis of pharmaceutical industry trends and competitor strategies. A further key component of my remit was also to establish partnerships with over 30 key vendors. * The Results * Realised six-digit annual savings by 8% through streamlining supply chainsIncreased sales by 13% within six months and elevated target brands to a top-three industry ranking by collaborating with marketing and sales teams to identify growth opportunities and implement 40 major promotional campaignsEnhanced operational efficiency by 5% and reduced project delivery timelines by 15% through analysing and redefining procurement workflows Gained an internal award recognising leadership of a procurement process innovation project to address operational inefficiencies

* The Role * In this capacity, I played a key role in the Shanghai market expansion by adapting supply chain processes to ensure on-time and within-budget equipment procurement and deployment for new stores. Accountability also lay with me to create project plans and resource allocation, and identify potential risks in relation to areas such as supply chain disruption, equipment quality, time delay and compliance. * The Results * Realised multi-thousand-pound annual savings across 25 stores by identifying and implement energy-saving measures, such as optimisation of refrigeration and heating systemsIncreased sales by 12% and strengthened customer satisfaction and loyalty by shaping strategies to enhance the experience in 10 flagship stores, such as improving the in-store environment and collaborating with suppliers to ensure high quality and reliability of equipment

* The Role * An important focus of this role was to administer procurement for 15 APAC offices. In practical terms, this included integrating mainland suppliers to gain cost efficiencies through local sourcing, together with enhancing the supplier database to streamline the supply chain strategy. I was also pleased to be able to shape and implement a due diligence protocol standards and enhance supply chain efficiency, through working collaboratively with engineering teams within the Aerospace Unit. Finally, I managed mechanical equipment procurement at two factories, which encompassed working with other teams to modernise spray equipment using robotic technology. * The Results * Overhauled 150 SKUs through market analysis and strategic negotiations, achieving a 10% cost reduction in the Corp (Indirect Procurement) business unitAchieved a 7% total cost reduction in the Mechanical Equipment Procurement business unit by negotiating with vendors and optimising production processesReceived Honeywell’s “Bravo Award” in recognition of directing the Aerospace Unit’s 2020 China Optics programme to localise 6,000 components across APAC
