Charles was responsible for the marketing and development of a high end DRPII program product, TradePlan.Prior to this, he managed large scale teams and bespoke commercial software implementations using the LINC 4GL for Unisys' corporate clients including Ford Australia, George Weston Foods and the Gas & Fuel Corporation.

Based in the UK, Charles had responsibility for several of Burroughs mid market commercial software products covering MRPII/Manufacturing, Costing, Payroll and Human Resources. This included software design, development, test and release strategies, and also software implementation & support. Memories include a mouse nest in an F series, updating payroll programs via paper tape, launch of the amazing B20, looking after the computerised scoring at the British Golf Open (St Andrews), using "real" multi-carbon paper internal memo forms with "real" CC and BCC sections - and many more!
