About Charles Mire
I have a broad range of skill sets and experience I draw from to help entrepreneurs and organizations, and I have an exceptional ability for communication between technical and non-technical audiences. I enjoy teaching, mentoring, leading product-focused projects and working with multiple stakeholders.I fundamentally love to take theory and apply it, to study systems and improve them. I'm very much a hands-on, quick learner. My experience has touched on manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, taxation and financials, debt collection, & software development (full SDLC, Agile). I dreamed of doing science & engineering, so I pursued advanced degrees in physics and chemistry, and that's where I first got started with 3D printing and materials science. After building a custom 3D printer for my research, I really wanted to take my knowledge and apply it to the real world -- and that's what led me to entrepreneurship. I started a company called Structur3D Printing to bring more advanced materials for additive manufacturing to a wider audience, and learned a great deal about entrepreneurship and running a business. I have continued to bring my skills to deep tech and hardware companies, often overlapping on product, governance, sales & marketing, and finance.
Listed skills include Chemistry, Perl, Nanotechnology, Materials Science, and 27 others.
