Uniquely he has been a multi-award winner as a market researcher/strategist and as a creative/copywriter. He has worked in multinational general market agencies, multicultural agencies and as a qualitative researcher, and he is an innovator in the field of cultural marketing/psychology. Currently, Charles is an adjunct professor at BMCC teaching courses in advertising and consumer behavior and he is the Head Strategist at Footsteps Consulting Services, which provides marketing consulting. Charles has worked at agencies such as BBDO and Ted Bates Advertising, where he was a VP, Research Director; he was also a partner in his own agency, Jamison and Leary Advertising, which specialized in the African American consumer segment.
