Experienced nursing leader & Wound Care Certified with +15 years of clinical and leadership knowledge in many different roles. I am a currently in the process of working towards a life goal of obtaining multiple Wound Care Certifications and continued education & experience specializing in Wound Care/Hyperbaric Medicine. I am ready to Work and Network! Currently employed at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, one of the leading hospitals in the region that offers advanced care in heart, neuroscience, orthopedics, women’s health, general surgery, organ transplantation and much more. I have been working as a wound care nurse for over five years, providing expert care for patients with acute and chronic wounds, such as diabetic foot ulcers, pressure injuries, surgical wounds, burns, and traumatic injuries. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, surgeons, physical therapists, and other nurses to assess, treat, and monitor wounds, as well as educate patients and caregivers on wound prevention and management. I also participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects to enhance wound care practices and outcomes. I am passionate about helping patients heal and improve their quality of life. I enjoy learning new skills and staying updated on the latest evidence-based practices in wound care. I am proud to be part of the Memorial Hermann Health System.
