As top editor of half of the magazine’s copy, was responsible for overseeing editorial direction, managing and hiring staff, approving ideas, maintaining a stable of over 50 freelance writers, and writing regular features and columns. Previous roles at Maxim included Editorial Assistant, Assistant Editor, Associate Editor, Senior Associate Editor, Senior Editor, and Deputy Editor. Awarded Dennis Publishing Employee of the Year, 1999.
Executive Editor, Maxim Goes To The Movies
Together with co-executive editor Clark Collis, launched a critically acclaimed movie magazine for Dennis Publishing, in the process concepting and editing or writing half of the magazine's content. Sadly, the continuing collapse of the advertising-driven publishing business made Dennis shelve this magazine extension after two issues.
