I worked to generally maintain the machines, and grounds as necessary, for 3TEX's Cary facility. We manufactured small batches of product for various SBIR/STTR Phase I & II contracts. We worked with fibers such as Kevlar, nomex, dyneema, nylon, pitch, silicon carbide, various carbon and fiber glass varieties, and aluminum oxide.

Worked mainly with real estate transactions and computer systems management. Handled all aspects of the firm's computing needs from purchasing to optimization.

Worked in laboratory studies in knitting, weaving, and yarn spinning for educational and commercial interests. Conducted research for the design and manufacturing of products ranging from Zylon protective apparel to chemically enhanced cotton.

Worked to prepare the company for ISO 9000 recertification. Collected data to determine the standard DPMs for acceptable returns. Increased awareness and identification of defects incurred through the manufacturing processes.

Developed patent pending CAD designs for a working circular weaving machine. The original design was for the purpose of weaving high strength, high density, composite materials such as the complete central structure of an aircraft.
