The joy of running a Digital Marketing Agency!

Being part of a growing business, let’s be honest we all wear a multitude of different hats. From following up leads, designing, tech support to production schedules and client feedback meetings.I am both a creative individual and structured which makes for an interesting combination in any working environment.At JQ Digital design my main focus for the short term is to assist with production management, general operations and new business development plus I still get to do a bit of design which fuels my creative side. I am also responsible for the analysis of our clients monthly social and search engine stats as well as providing feedback, planning and suggestions.

During my 3 month hunting process I spent most of my time either hunting or doing the things we as working people never get the time to do. I spent time researching various subjects that interest me like creative design, social media, management techniques and trends, CGI and the history of the world.Although it was a stressful time I learned to take one day at a time. Make my plans and work towards my goals but be flexible enough to take a moment and appreciate what we already have.I learned more about myself in these 3 short, although they seemed long, than in the previous 10 years running the rat race.

Gist marketing, as the name implies;"The Gist or Substance of marketing" specializes in Brand promotion, design and implementation. My role as general manager is first and foremost to grow the business. My current focus is to grow the online marketing, web and social media areas of the business.

Responsible for all company operations and related issues. This includes web design and web development, Social Media, Search engine marketing and support divisions. Currently I am involved mainly with day to day operations, finance, sales and project management.

Responsible for all Web site and related web products. This includes website design, development, ISP, FLASH, SEO, SEM, Social Media.I am responsible for sales, team management, finance and budgets as well as new product development and research.

The MISC group of companies join with 2 other companies to create the About IT group of companies. The web design and development company which I headed was now called About IT dot Web

Vizion design was part of the MISC Group of companies. Still specializing in web design and development but now part of a bigger group of companies.

I started a small web design company more as a hobby than anything else. It quickly grew to a full time job so I resigned my day job and from then on designed websites fulltime. Three years later we merged the company with another company a joined the MICS Group as Vizion Design.

I worked as part of a team that created Computer Based training courses for various government departments and banks.
