Chuck has been involved in magnetic design since 1986. During that time, Chuck successfully designed transformers, inductors, reactors and other magnetic devices for a wide variety of applications. Chuck proved himself valuable as an application engineer as well, always helping customers choose the correct device for their applications. Chuck effectively led Sales and Application teams to achieve goals in a very challenging economy.Chuck’s experience is unique in that he has been involved in a wide variety of magnetic designs, from miniature RF designs through liquid filled MVA transformer designs. From a business standpoint, Chuck has been involved from the engineering, prototyping, manufacturing, purchasing, sales and application, distribution and management activities of many companies.Specialties: custom applications and designs, magnetic design experience, standard and custom products

He also participated in the design and development of new product lines with marketing, manufacturing, and financial departments to insure that the new product could be made and sold with the highest return to the corporation. Chuck modified the design of existing products to meet the needs of a changing market or to make the product easier to manufacture at a lower cost. He also established and maintained a project report for all design or redesign projects including changes made and implementation schedule. Every design was targeted to support manufacturing in developing the manufacturing flow for new or redesigned product lines. Chuck was instrumental in implementing the ISO 9000 programChuck's engineering success at FPT included design of dry type distribution transformers 600 volt class, 5 KV class, and 15 KV class up to 3750 KVA. Chuck was also instrumental in leading the technical writing for FPT's stock product catalog, for distribution as a sales and marketing tool. Chuck was also the lead designer for preparing quotations for loss evaluated transformers, used in the utility industry.To assist manufacturing, Chuck coordinated set-up and standardization of GEORG Core Cutting machine.
