Support global supply shared services and manufacturing for drilling product lines. Interface with senior management on statistical business metrics and spotlight areas for clarification and improvement. Cultivate a strategic “business partner/advisor” relationship with all levels of management. Understand multiple HR disciplines, and manage day-to-day HR tactical activities, including recruiting, staffing, training, compensation, benefits, and organizational development. Key functions include:• Strategic initiatives/planning, such as step progression program for the development of skills.• Employee relations, grievance resolutions and ethics line investigations.• Workforce planning to support groups with $2.2B revenues.• Partner with HR outside of the U.S.A including Canada, China, Romania and Dubai.• Support manufacturing floor with 1M man hours and no recordable injuries.• Succession planning, strategic initiatives/RIF, plant shut down.• Developed an eight-year fixed step program for machinists.• Oversee implementation of compensation and benefits.• EEOC.• Worked with benefits, compliance, and legal in preparation for plant shut down (WARN Act).
