CurrentCurrent responsibilities include:Current responsibilities include:• Manage team responsible for the firm's design and implementation of core technologies.• Data center design and build in Richmond, Atlanta and London.• Disaster recovery planing and testing for the firm's voice and data systems.• Messaging systems consisting of Microsoft Exchange, Cisco Call Manager, Jabber and RightFAX.• Storage systems, EMC SAN/NAS and Pure SAN and the replication of the data between the data centers.• LAN/WAN design, support and implementation across 25 office locations and 3 data centers.• Implemented WAN design consisting of two disparate MPLS networks running through separate equipment in each location. This resulted in zero downtime for all locations over the past 6 years.Departments managed:• Network Infrastructure - Manage team responsible for the firm's network, enterprise storage, data centers and messaging systems.• Network Operations - Managed the Operations and Telecommunications covering all firm locations.• Client Communications - Team of six engineers who provided professional services to firm clients including server/network/storage systems design and implementation. Also responsible for all firm communication systems.• PC Support - Supervised second tier hardware and software support personnel as well as the first tier Help Desk.
