My name is Charles Kent and I have nearly ten years of professional experience in graphic and visual design within fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, in both corporate and agency settings. I’ve had the privilege of completing extensive projects for blue-chip clients such as Sony, NASA, L’Oreal, Hilton, Sears Canada, Panda Express, Aldi, and Visit Baltimore. Rowe Price, my role as Quality Control Designer relied on the quality assurance of deliverables to project managers with heavily detailed and sensitive financial data. I was trusted with the management of task workflows, verifying internal brand standards, directing project approvals, and administering onboard training within a production team of fifteen to twenty associates. The wide variety of tasks included PowerPoint presentations, whitepapers, brochures, interactive PDFs, web banners and graphics, UX wireframes, and many other intensive, data-heavy projects.Before my rewarding experience at T. Rowe Price, I had a great opportunity at TB&C, which was the premiere advertising firm in Baltimore, Maryland. My position was labeled as a Digital Production Designer and involved the development of marketing materials tailored to client needs and specifications. These included social media graphics, mailers, email templates, magazine ads, and other collateral in both print and web mediums. I worked directly with art directors and clients to apply changes towards copy and graphical assets as well as supplement efforts with layout and design.
