Lime Energy, a Wildan company, was engaged to fulfill a contract with Southern California Edison to reduce 72 MW of power demand through energy efficiency upgrades to large package A/C systems and air-cooled chillers. We installed condenser pre-cooling systems under the Cool2Save program. Beneficiaries of the program were large commercial or industrial facilities with 20 tons or greater air cooled chillers and roof top A/C. Energy savings are 20% or greater, resulting in utility bill savings up to 40%. The installation also has the added benefit of reducing maintenance and increasing cooling capacity on hot days.

Founded in 2012, UET provides turn-key, megawatt-scale Vanadium flow battery energy storage solutions* Created and bid storage projects, including a 20 MW / 80 MWH transmission project for two major energy companies under the PG&E storage program. Located facilities, obtained site control and transmission interconnection approval.* Developed and obtained commitments for an additional 1200 kW / 4.0 MWH in onsite installations totaling $ 5 - $6 million in sales. Obtained SGIP funding reservations.* Represented UET in business development activities to local municipal and investor owned utilities, including presentations, RFI and RFQ responses.

Utility Resource Management Group, Inc. is a nation-wide utility consulting company.* Reviewed natural gas contracts and procurement for over 300 corporate clients in California and Illinois. * Negotiated favorable contracts with suppliers and advised on procurement options. One client received a net credit of over $ 1 million on natural gas procurement during the energy crisis of 2000.* Instrumental in negotiating more favorable CHP power contract for client with on-site 11 MW Qualified Facility, including natural gas fuel procurement and utility service tariff (Sunkist - Ontario).* Assisted in roll-out of deregulated electric procurement services to clients in California and Illinois.

Prior to forming Utility Savings & Refund, LLC, Toca worked as an independent agent, providing energy services on a contract basis. Toca was involved at the beginning of natural gas deregulation, working with companies like SPURR (School Project for Utility Rate Reduction). Toca formed buying groups to aggregate natural gas demand, providing a service to gas marketers and reducing costs for his clients.
