Executive and entrepreneur in genomics with 20 years of experience, with the goal of making clinical genomics easier, more useful, and more widely used. I specialize in the development of computational methods, but am driven by deeply understanding the molecular biology that drives all discovery. Most of my experience is in cancer, but I am interested all applications of genomics in biology.In the past decade I have worked on CLIA whole-genome and whole-transcriptome sequencing from FFPE and blood, fragmentomics of blood plasma and urine cell-free DNA. My computational efforts include probabilistic graphical models for integration of multi-omic cancer data with pathway signaling, and I have lead a research team using deep-learning on sequence analysis as well as and cancer histopathology images.
