I was with The Art Center for over two years now and learned an immense amount about arts education programming for adults and children of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. I also learned the technical side of exhibit preparation and installation including artist relations, inventory management, insurance claim filing, travel booking, and calendar coordination. I also wrote grants for the Artability-Arts for All program that serves artists with disabilities and children in our community by giving them arts experiences that enrich the lives of each individual, their families, and the community as a whole. I worked with a great staff, passionate membership, and a diverse group of volunteers and community organizations to prepare exhibits and coordinate arts education programming. This was truly a community effort.
