This was to use Novell's Zenworks to maintain corporate desktop standards as well as roll out of new applications. This was run side by side with SMS as applications were converted. • Installed a complete SMS system to maintain desktop images, and software distribution as well as maintaining software metering. • Programming and configuration of Cisco switches and routers to distributed to 70 remote locations. • Installed and updated new Backup system based on Arcserve for the Novell and NT networks, and VERITAS for the SUN server farm. • Installed new Cisco Giga switches for server room, and configured and installed Cisco 100mb switches for all other locations. • Completed training for Sun Solaris 8 administration to help in the move of the Oracle development network from an Oracle DEC solution, to a Sun Solaris Oracle environment. • Completed training for maintenance and support of Sun 10k server. • Setup Compaq server clustering for Domain Controllers. • Maintained MVS systems for accounting.

This was done to help cut down on the day to day administrative network functions while providing the highest level of security to the Server. • Maintained IBM rs6000 and as400 for Canadian Tire Corp and Government of Alberta. • Maintained AS400 systems for Canada Post. • General Motors Canada provide support of the RS600 systems and support and maintain there EMS Disk sub systems
