I am the leader of the Los Angeles Litigation Team and a partner in the Securities Litigation Group. My practice concentrates on complex business disputes, including securities class actions, derivative litigation, fiduciary duty and other cases resulting from mergers and acquisitions, corporate control disputes, and commercial litigation. I have tried more than a dozen cases to a verdict or arbitration award.My clients span many industries, as well as financial institutions and professional services firms. I have represented clients across the country in federal and state court proceedings, arbitration, and courts of appeal. In September 2021, I was honored to be recognized as a legal visionary by the Los Angeles Times in its selection of professionals having “demonstrated noteworthy success and accomplishments” in the legal field. In 2019, I was named one of the “Top Litigators and Trial Lawyers in Los Angeles” by the Los Angeles Business Journal.My board service includes as a member of the National Council of the Federal Bar Association and on the boards of the Disability Rights Legal Center, Strength in Support and the St. Paul the Apostle School Foundation. Before earning my law degree, I served as a submarine officer in the Pacific.
