Responsible for overseeing the daily activities of hourly associates on the Sales Floor (Specialist), Front End, Freight, Delivery, and Stocking departments. Access customers account(s) to coordinate with company and vendor systems to resolve current/past issues within policy guidelines, basic and advanced troubleshooting. Main liaison between buyers, designers, sales, and estimating to plan single products or complex projects with various, multiple products. Relay project specifications and planning to all management and production departments via email, meetings and a comprehensive job ticket. Coordinated projects from pre-press through to finishing and delivery, including outside vendors, to keep the project on schedule and budget. (1 – 5 color plus coating and lamination sheet fed; 1, 2 and 4 color web; books, catalogs, direct mailing; binder assembly, pick-n-pack distribution; saddle, spiral / wire-o, perfect binding)

Liaison for all customer interactions under my direct supervision. Forward any deviating project specifications from the customer (from ALL levels of management, buyers and designers) to sales and estimating. Relay project specifications to all production departments via email, meetings and a comprehensive job ticket. Coordinated the project from from pre-press through to finishing and delivery. Negotiated with vendors for costs and scheduled time for their production to meet the customer's delivery time and budget. (1, 2 and 4 color; single, duplex and triplex full web and Sunday presses; retail newspaper inserts, direct mailing, catalogs and Sunday comics.)

Main contact for the Senior Sales Account Manager accounts and several other salesperson's and house accounts. Reviewed project specifications and relayed these to be estimated along with concerns and negotiated prices. Once the project was awarded, scheduled it in production and completed in-house tickets, ordered all supplies and scheduled any vendors needed for that project. Coordinated the project from estimating through delivery to meet the scheduled delivery and project budget. (High end 1, 2, 4 and 5 color lithography with spot colors and coatings mostly on sheet fed with two half-webs; pre-press layout, design and color separation.)

Coordinated directly with the sales team and the customer to see that all needs and specifications of both are relayed to the different production area managers. Relay any concerns of mine and/or the customers back to the sales and production team. Main contact for most of the flexo and several of the litho high-end customers and back up for all customers. Estimated and quoted prices for most of the new work with customers and made sure that all quality standards were meet or exceeded before any product was delivered. (Pre-press layout, design, copy-dot and color separation; data storage; spot or CMYK litho and flexo plates.)

Managed the pre-press department with direct contact with ALL levels of management, general order customer service and the art department of the customer. Acted as the main contact for all customers with printing needs. Would layout product identity to print on injection-molded products for the food industry,using customer ideas and/or files as needed. Scanning, color separation and correction, and file preparation for production needs including proofing, RIP, film output and processing, and plate making. Evaluated, recommended and purchased new technology, equipment and supplies for pre-press area and the printing department.
