• Worked in Risk and Portfolio Management for the Infrastructure and Financing Securitization Division (IFS) of HKMC. This division was responsible for the securitization of infrastructure: which involved pooling.
• Produced spreadsheets in conjunction with macros for Portfolio Management of specific countries.
• Researched, compiled, and organized data and spreadsheets for monitoring folders for specific relevant industry sectors to IFS.
• Wrote and edited annual and quarterly reports documents for specific sectors and projects.
• Developed proficiency in Bloomberg Terminal to analyse market and financial information for projects.

• Participated in the project: “Degradation Study of EV Battery for Stationary Energy Storage” which tackles repurposing EV batteries for stationary energy storage.
• Assigned to design a scaled-down portable solar-powered emergency station that incorporated these batteries using CAD modelling.
• Learned about the solar technologies incorporated and relevant environmental technology development.
• Developed a variety of skills including computer aided design.

• Attended forums, meetings, technical tour visits, and workshops to learn about different applications regarding resilience infrastructure, smart systems, sustainable communities.
• Had the opportunity to fully understand the technology development cycle from R&D, planning and funding, implementation, and commercialization perspectives.Worked as a summer apprentice on sustainability issues.

• Participated in a project aiming to use a novel photoelectrochemical technology for energy-neutral biogas polishing and sulfur recovery from saline Sewage Treatment Works (STWs).
• Investigated different bioenergy processes such as bio-methanation in saline anaerobic digestion (AD) and assisted experimental designs.
• Utilized analytical tools used in Big Data Analytics and Bioinformatics, such as the ‘Mothur’ coding program.
