Hi, I'm Charles. I graduated from National Chung Hsing University, majoring in Physics and minoring in Computer Science and Engineering.I have experience in programming languages such as Python, C++, C, Java, JavaScript and Golang, experience in frontend tech stacks, such as HTML, CSS, BootStrap and jQuery, and experience in backend such as Node.js (Express.js, Axios, EJS) and SQL. I use Git and GitHub for version control, and I’m familiar with doing things on Linux command line. For example, I played around with Docker on Linux.I value "code readability," so I always follow the "Google Style Guide" to write code. When I learn a new thing, I always read the official English technical documentation. With regard to English, during my university years, I actively asked professors to allow me to give presentations in English on two different courses, and I made friends with some foreign students from Haiti, so I’m used to using English in daily life for communicating my thoughts to other people.Moreover, I possess the following hard skills and strengths: firstly, good self-learning ability; secondly, dare to ask questions, in nearly all courses and speeches I take part in, I’m always the one who ask questions; thirdly, critical thinking; fourthly, time management and some project management skills. I built my own "project management system" on Notion to organize my day.Regarding my soft skills and personality traits, firstly, I can express things logically and clearly and communicate effectively; secondly, I treat everyone with respect, and I would proactively look for the good in others; thirdly, I like to inspire and encourage people. All of those qualities make me a good member in teamwork.Keen to pursue a career in software engineering, such as web development, software testing, firmware and data science!
