Since 1976, Capitol Hill Housing has been committed to creating equitable and sustainable communities in Seattle. In addition to housing, our community work focuses on sustainability, equity, and culture to strengthen our neighborhoods.At Capitol Hill Housing, I have been involved in projects from site due diligence, acquisition, community engagement, pre-development, lender/investor selection, design and entitlements, finance and operating models, and construction management. Specific projects I have worked on during my time at Capitol Hill Housing include: • “Station House” apartments - the new construction of 110 apartments as part of a larger transit-oriented, mixed-income and mixed-use development project that surrounds the Capitol Hill light rail station• “Capitol Hill Portfolio 1” - the rehabilitation of 136 apartments across 4 separate buildings including the seismic retrofit of a 1920's brick walk-up• “Union and 14th” - the new construction of 84 apartments and the Pacific Northwest's first LGBTQ-affirmative senior housing which includes ground floor service partners dedicated to LGBTQ health and social service needs• “Workforce Housing” – supporting the creation of a new financial and development model to spur the development of middle-income housing (less than 80% AMI) without utilizing public subsidies
