Immersive 16 week full-stack coding bootcamp emphasizing JavaScript, React, Python, and Django.For the first 12 weeks, I completed daily and weekly assignments through individual work and pair programming designed to help teach current development tools, techniques, and best practices.The final quarter of the bootcamp culminated in a final project where I collaborated with a team of four developers on a web app that allows users to share personal histories of points of interest near and dear to their heart. "This Land" is a React app utilizing a Django backend and multiple MapBox features so users can find points of interest close to their location as well as add their own to the map. Our team used Trello to navigate project management from conception to demo day. I was the originator of the idea and the primary designer for the app.
