In his thirty-year career, Charley Moore has worked in a wide variety of golf, start-up and private equity investment related activities. His began his sports industry career as an agent at IMG where he represented over 20 professional athletes including two #1 world- ranked professional golfers. After leaving IMG, he created The Moore Group, LCC as his entrepreneurial platform. The company has provided representation for clients such as ESPN Outdoors, Bombardier Aerospace, Nokia, B.A.S.S, and IMG/David Duval. Mr. Moore was also a co-founder of The PGA TOUR Network on XM Satellite Radio and CEO of Pure Golf LLC, a radio production company. As a private equity principal and Operating Partner at Falconhead, he oversaw the acquisition of several different sports, media and lifestyle sectors and worked as an executive manager in several successful transactions. His full range of experiences, both inside and outside of the sports world, recently led him back to golf as an executive-level consultant to Lagardere Sports and Entertainment (LSE), a multinational marketing and media company working to develop a fully-integrated approach to their entrée into American golf.

    Moore served as Executive Chairman of Not Your Daughter’s Jeans (NYDJ), which became a $150mm, #1 denim seller in US big box retailers such as Nordstrom, Macy’s and Dillard’s. During Moore’s 4-year tenure, Falconhead and NYDJ management successfully grew the business from the #7 player in the space to the industry leader and exited in 2014 at a 3x return for its investors. While at Falconhead, Moore also served as Executive Chairman of GPSindustries, the industry leading provider of golf cart GPS systems where he remains a board member. He has also previously held board positions at Escort Industries (radar detector products), The Golf Warehouse (TGW), and Rita’s Italian Ice restaurants. Chairman of the Board of NYDJ Holdings and serves on the board GPSI Holdings, a Falconhead investment.

    Moore oversaw the first successful PGA TOUR radio product launch entitled the “The PGA TOUR Radio Network” distributed originally on XM satellite radio. As Founder/CEO of PureGolf LLC, Moore negotiated carriage and content rights deals with XM, the PGA TOUR, The Masters, US Open, PGA of America/Ryder Cup and the R&A. XM Satellite Radio also became an OMP as the “Satellite Radio Provider to the PGA TOUR”. As part of that OMP execution, PureGolf created a unique fan enhancement program renting handheld radios to PGA TOUR fans each week. Moore’s original ownership group sold their interest to XM (as a pre-merger requirement) in 2009.
