PPR is a global PR company with a fantastic work ethic and environment. My role at PPR includes looking after 5 offices over Australia with administration duties, enquiries and travel bookings. Based at the Sydney head office my duties include Courier Bookings, Travel bookings for staff, media and journalists, organising conference calls, organising gifts and flowers for clients, stationary upkeep, database upkeep, meeting and greeting clients, end of month finance including assigning charges for Cab Charge and post to specific clients and company expenses, Setting up new vendors, diary management including meeting room arrangements, dealing with new business enquiries, raising PO's and organising meetings with catering and meeting set up among other general office duties.

Working at Unilever I was Front of House so my duties included answering the switch board, signing visitors in and making them aware of the health and safety. I would organise travel arrangement for staff and clients as well as organising all catering requirements for meetings. I would often work alongside the facilities manager to raise purchase orders and contact engineers about any problems on site. Working so closely with the facilities manager we were also in charge of events such as organising Christmas Parties and Summer Balls.

Working at Media Trust myself along with 9 other reporters were in charge of making a London based news magazine programme fortnightly. From starting from pitching our ideas we would go onto filming, presenting, researching, producing, editing and making our programme ready for broadcast. Alongside the TV programme we also wrote blogs for the shows website, wrote articles for the voice newspaper and would feature on BBC London's radio station on Friday evenings to talk about the programme and the issues we touched on.

Being a runner was a really varied role. The role included assisting on shoots, meeting and greeting clients, office managing, running tapes, assisting the production team and covering for front of house reception during lunch and holidays. I would also cover the MD's PA whenever needed. During my time at BDA I spent 3 months in post production learning and assisting the team.
