I was responsible for managing and supervising a case load of 50-60 high risk adult offenders on Probation or Post-Release Parole. My duties included home, office visits, conducting random drug testing, legal search and seizures for illegal contraband and weapons. Along with these duties, I was assigned to be the DRE Officer for my district.

I supervised offenders to ensure compliance with parole, probation, or community placement agreements such community service or drug treatment. I also performed scheduled and unscheduled home visits while conducting searches, with or without a warrant, of homes, vehicles. This was to insure criminal offenders did not have dangerous, illegal or stolen goods, or for any other evidence that might indicate criminal behavior. I managed a case load of 100-120 offenders by means of direct contact with offenders or indirect contact through individuals who are acquainted with or have an impact on the offender’s life. This position also included testifying in court during Probation/Parole violations or writing Pre-Sentence Investigation Reports.
