they/them.Hello, I'm Charli - previously an EU Qualified Trade Mark Attorney, now a Software Developer.As a career switcher I have all sorts of weird and wonderful knowledge and experience. I spent 10 years working very successfully in Intellectual Property Law, but during that time kept being drawn back to coding, all while thinking "...but I'm not actually qualified in it". The reality is that I learnt HTML, CSS and JavaScript nearly 20 years ago, and have been coding solutions to problems ever since then - everything from massively complex VBA (with API calls) in Excel Spreadsheets, to a Python bot sending SMS alerts running on Heroku (don't come at me!), and from a personal, offline expenses tracker, to a JavaScript bot for a large Discord server, and even a website or two (well, three actually).Largely tech-agnostic, with a passion for learning new languages and new approaches. I have experience in AWS and GCP, including Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and various CI/CD tools.My biggest pleasure in any role is delivering wins for clients - there's nothing quite like being able to make that phone call, or write that email, that you know is going to be cause for celebration at the other end.
