I started at this site on the EXPO side, and becoming the first EXPO manager at the restaurant. This role involved quality control, creating food running rotas and managing the food running team. I eventually decided to transition over to the serving side of the resturant as I missed the guest interaction. My many years in hospitality provides me with the expertise to deliver exceptional service to our guests. Due to acting work and public speaking roles, I excel at delivering the fantastic story the building; regarding the Collingson's cafe connection to the Titanic.I am currently enjoying my role as sever/trainer!

I am currently still employed at Arc as a quizmaster!I have worked across several Arc Inspiration sites over the past years, starting as a bar staff member whilst at University and then became a supervisor providing both on and off site training to new staff. All of the sites are lively and fast paced environments, with large teams to manage. Staff management means maintaining a high work ethic through recognition and rewarding excellent behaviour and productivity. I was given the opportunity to be a new site trainer (NST) for a new company site that opened in Leeds city centre. My role consisted of training the new staff over a 2 week period in areas such as the basics of business, customer service, cocktail making, beer, wine, spirit and food tasting/ knowledge. I then spent a of couple months managing the opening of the site to help everything run smoothly.I am experienced in cocktail making, and regularly take part in beer, wine and spirit training to ensure my knowledge is up to date. I opened and closed the sites, trusted with cashing up and security checking the premises and ensuring staff safety on leaving. Working in a pressured environment dealing with high volumes of customers with the involvement of alcohol has taught me to be level headed in stressful situations maintaining a high level of service standard. I have learnt the importance of de-escalation in a bar environment, and how to ensure both the staff and customers I am around stay safe in these situations. I also deal with any customer complaints on my shifts.Often long shifts during unsocial hours means lifting staff moral is vital from management, and working with a sense of compassion to ensure staff wellbeing comes first.

I left the NHS funded role to be an Assistant manager at Twisted bars LTD's Premium Cocktail Bar the Ticket Office bar, Ilkely. The responsibility of this role included managing a fantastic team and helping run the day to day operations that keep the site functioning. I also helped manage all of the Twisted bars sites whilst transitioning to my next role!

I worked on our Type 2 Diabetes Remission Program. These programs are based on the DiRECT studies. This NHS funded program was all done remotely, where patient where given help over thre phone and on our amazing OVIVA app! I specifically helped patient over the app as well as many other roles across the program. I would make sure everything ran smoothly for our patients and dietitians, to make the weight loss journey as easy as possible. This role quite literally helped saved lives and thus very rewarding!
