-Collaborated with internal and external stakeholders to advance digital campaigns on core issue areas. Campaigns within my portfolio included supporting Next Up Victory Candidates through outreach to member activists to call to GOTV, soliciting donations and volunteers, collaborating with Organizing Together 2020 to connect volunteers with ways to mobilize progressives in their communities in advance of the 2020 election, and advancing the work of the Vote the Courts campaign through distributed and relational organizing tactics.-Created original digital copy, including graphics, for SMS, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, email, the PFAW blog, and online petition distribution in accordance with organizational priorities for mobilizing activists.

-Guided response to rapidly changing policy climates at the federal, state, and local level by analyzing policy changes for their impacts on LGBTQ students. Avenues for rapid response include participation on internal taskforce for Rapid Issue Response, tracking state-level threats and opportunities to engage during the legislative cycle, and providing research and analysis to respond to policy and law changes coming out of the administration, Congress, and SCOTUS.-Built digital mobilization strategies to link GLSEN advocates to avenues to change. Actions ranged from utilizing EveryAction and CQEngage to connect action takers to opportunities to influence policy, to hosting webinars on policy resources for internal and external audiences, to serving on staff committee for web and CRM redesign.-Grew and strengthened organization’s grassroots policy capacity. From 2017 to 2019 increased chapter Policy Coordinator program from 16 to 25 committed volunteers who advance safe schools policy through one-on-one coaching, facilitating peer-to-peer learning, and creating opportunities for the network to engage each other around current events and policy opportunities. This included organizing three years of the Policy Coordinator Summit— a two-day chapter volunteer conference that brought leaders from across the country to Washington to discuss organizing strategy, establishing policy capacity, and communication to targeted constituent groups-Created policy resources to serve GLSEN’s diverse student, educator, community leader, and influencer constituencies.

• Worked with a variety of databases, including Bloomberg Government, to track legislation regarding the intersection of LGBTQ youth and suicide prevention.• Promoted the implementation of the Model School District Policy on Suicide Prevention Policy by forming connections with advocacy organizations in states with high rates of completed suicides, highlighting legislative allies in those states, and championing legislation encouraging implementation of model policy.
