With four years of experience in a very busy restaurant in the heart of the Kawarthas, and a year and a half currently with McDonald’s in St. Catharine’s, I am highly skilled and flexible in commercial kitchen operations and understand all aspects of working in a restaurant. I have great people skills, am flexible in my approach to getting the job done and am a valued member of a team. My volunteer pursuits include coaching Special Olympics Soccer, being a counsellor at Lakefield Vacation Bible School, and an International Service Project at the Balule Reserve in South Africa. I am currently in the process of gaining my bachelor’s degree in psychology with the hopes of continuing my education in order to gain a master’s degree as well. I am open to exploring my options in the psychology field for after I graduate but have an interest in helping those with more severe mental health issues in either institutions or in a position to help them before it gets too severe, similar to a social worker position.
