Accomplished Project Manager with significant experience in managing capital projects in Factory Automation both locally and globally with Hewlett Packard and SL Controls (seconded to Johnson & Johnson Automation Centre of Excellence and Vision Care) over the past 27 years. My Team were responsible for the design of manufacturing strategies and manufacturing platforms for HP’s inkjet cartridge operation. This encompass all aspects of project management from business justification and approvals to production capacity design and acquisition of high volume automation including commissioning. Manage an engineering team chartered with responsibilities to support the direct launch of new products in Ireland and our Asian Manufacturing Network. Working in partnership with R&D to design, develop and acquire all tooling automation requirements to support capacity requirements for new products and extensions. Provide inputs for in-depth scenario analysis which affects global site locations for new products along with existing products to determine best value proposition for the Business. Accountable for $1m - $400m capital budgets and $4M+ expensed budget.
