I'm a voracious learner, and have passionately pursued a number of projects and a range of experiences in my personal history. The skills that I've developed the most are in people, computers, and design.My human skills are one of the first things people will comment on - that I'm empathetic, encouraging, supportive; that I'm honest and vulnerable; that I'm patient with people and open to their experiences. I'm comfortable being challenged and I'm respectful of those I disagree with. I also have an off-beat absurdist sense of humour, but that's easy enough for anybody to say - maybe we should chat and you'll see it for yourself.I'm very comfortable around computers, to the point that I'm not sure where layman's knowledge is anymore. I certainly absorb it very easily and the logic and structure of computers appeals to me. If I don't already know it, I'll be able to rapidly learn it. And I'm not content with knowing that it works - I'm driven to understand why it works, too.Design has always been a huge part of my personal life and personal expression. I will often draw caricatures shared privately as gifts. I have cultivated a critical eye for colour, contrast, composition, and understanding the eye's natural path that I believe will serve me well in UI/UX design.I enjoy playing the keyboard, board games, illustration, cute rats, and the colour orange.
