About Charlie Robinette
A 2022 graduate of UNC - Chapel Hill, I've found "community development" to be at the crux of my ambitions in the working world. I'm still learning what form and capacity that might look like in my career, but thus far I count every experience I have as valuable towards preparing me for the next opportunity ahead. I'm passionate about rural communities, economic development, agriculture, food systems, and above all, people. I've lived in small towns and urban centers alike and have grown to understand that people need two things: 1. Hope, and 2. Purpose. I aim to serve in a way that allows for those two things in others - currently that means working in Food Policy, ensuring people have the basic essentials needed for a quality life, whether that's a nutritious meal on the dinner table or a dollar in the farmer's pocket.
