After starting this media outlet as a modest passion project in 2011, I have had the honor and pleasure of serving as the first and only editor.Trained over 200 local journalists, and won several awards for our work including the Stuart & Beverly Awbrey Award for Community-Oriented Local Journalism.

I run campaigns to protect our food, water, air, and climate, and educate the public about the dangers of fossil fuels and the climate crisis.Managed successful ballot question campaigns in East Brunswick, Franklin Township, and Old Bridge.Led the team of volunteers that stopped plans for a dirty gas plant in Woodbridge, NJ.

I served as point person for the successful launch of PatersonPress.com, the best source of news in Paterson. I also advocated for the successful adoption of an open and transparent bidding process for city insurance contracts in Paterson, and the creation of the Paterson Environmental Commission, which aided the city’s successful application for certification by the Sustainable Jersey programI also taught free empowerment trainings on local government, politics, and citizen journalism in Paterson, Newark, Trenton, Passaic, Perth Amboy, & New Brunswick.

After assisting this small credit union in a time of transition, I was honored to be named Chairman of the Board of Directors. Under my leadership, we executed a merger with New Jersey's largest credit union, Affinity, widely expanding access to Rutgers alumni across the state.

I co-founded HearNewBrunswick.com, Middlesex County's first internet radio station, in 2005I served on the station's Board of Directors since 2008 and as the station's first Director of Program Development, where I recruited nearly 100 talented hosts, making for one of the most diverse lineups of any radio station. I have also hosted three different programs on the station, all of which were among the most popular on our station.
