Charlie joined Tapper Funeral Services in December 2022, as a Funeral Director, at their Harbour View office. He has drafted the new Employee & Benefits Handbook, deals with contracts for new starters, manages the HR Sage database, does exit interviews, involved in disciplinary issues and investigations, appraisals, as part of his additional role as HR Manager. Qualified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator he also does career and personal development. Recently trained (2024) in Mental Health First Aid responder (through St John's Ambulance) and Managing the disciplinary procedure (through ACAS).He was the Vicar of All Saints, Branksome Park, Poole, Dorset, where he has been living since August 2013. He was on the Poole Deanery Standing Committee and a member of Salisbury Diocesan Synod. He has four children, married to Sarah, enjoys walking, cycling, swimming, tennis, golf, skiing and sailing. Member of the East Dorset Sailing Club. His Curacy was at St Kea, Truro, Cornwall. He was also responsible for relationships with the local school, initiating Open the Book Assemblies, All-Age services and setting up the Recovering from Divorce and Separation course, as well as the Marriage Preparation Course and Parenting Teenagers & Parenting Children Courses. Helped introduce and speaker at the St Kea Alpha course. Previously he spent two years in Cambridge studying theology as a student at Ridley Hall. Charlie used to be a careers consultant, doing search, coaching, training, career and personal development planning as well as redundancy counselling. Charlie has coached and advised professionals on career direction, since 1999 till 2008. He has a certificate in coaching and is trained as a Myers Briggs Type Indicator practitioner.
