In this role I oversee marketing and internal reporting for the Broadview Education Consortium of schools including Broadview University (BVU), Broadview Entertainment Arts University (BEAU), Institute of Production and Recording (IPR) and Minnesota School of Cosmetology (MSC). I am tasked with developing marketing and recruitment models that help to deliver results that deliver on the vision of the Board of Directors. I work with the CEO, Operations and Compliance teams to ensure our policies and practices are compliant with regulatory expectations. I coordinate with other members of the Executive team to ensure all internal reporting is accurate and that the organization is meeting or exceeding the operational goals set by the Board and Executive team.

In addition to my duties as the Director of Online Admissions, I oversee and collaborate on the training for all new admissions personnel as well as the campus admissions teams and Directors of Admissions. In this role, I am responsible for assuring that each new representative is trained based on the training style, compliance standards, and professional ethical standards set forth by Globe Education Network. As needed, I make suggestions and modify the training practices and materials. I coordinate and participate in bi-weekly all admissions trainings. Also as needed, I work with various campus-level admissions teams on the various areas of growth and opportunity they may have. I act as a support to the other campus Directors of Admissions, Campus Directors, Regional Directors, and Corporate staff as it relates to Admissions practices and trainings.

It is my role to effectively lead the department towards achieving campus recruitment and retention goals. In addition, I help develop marketing strategies, plan and promote campus events, work with community organizations, foster and maintain strong relationships with area High Schools, and assist the team with professional develop and goal setting. In conjunction with the rest of the Directors and campus, I help to maintain a positive and inviting environment for our students to learn, grow, and complete this phase of their career paths.

Being a pilot role, it was my job to plan and execute this role that was specific to the Sioux Falls Campus. I blended High School recruitment and community outreach within the area High Schools. I spoke in the schools on topics such as living independently, social media, bullying, being politically active, among other real-world topics. I also developed and delivered a number of career-focused presentations based on the programs our school offered. These presentations were adapted by the organization as a whole. My work in this role lead to one of the most successful years at the campus regarding high school-specific outreach and recruitment. The next year, the organization adopted the role for each of our campuses.

I focused primarily on both checking in newly re-bound books as well as working as a preservation assistant. I documented books and conditions in the Aleph-Marc system.

Coordinated weekly Community Tea events. Ordered catering, prepped and cleaned up before and after events. Worked with student groups to host events. Kept inventory and ordered supplies as needed.
