About Charles Liang
I am a Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Clarkson University and a Fellow of ASME. I am interested in computational fluid dynamics, magnetohydrodynamics, computational heat transfer, fluid-structure interaction, marine propulsion, solar physics, and parallel computing. I also serve as the Associate Director of the Clarkson Center for Complex Systems Science (C3S2). My older son, IM Jason Liang, is the 2021 and 2022 New York State Chess Champion.
