Production:· Part of management team overseeing all production processes, with a focus on wort production on 1040HL Parti-Gyle Brewhouse - 200,000HL brewed in 2023.· NPD, recipe development and optimisation. · Process optimisation (energy savings, efficiency gains, throughput and beer quality).· Raw material forecasting, planning and ordering, engaging with procurement and supply chain. · Use of brewery software – SAP, LIMS, SCADA and QPULSE to monitor and keep track of brews in the system and ensure that all the beers meet quality parameters specified and carry out any necessary corrective actions should they fall outside (colour, PG, bitterness etc). Management:· Management of 14-strong team, ensuring that they are trained and have opportunities to become multiskilled.· Ensure that production is standardised within the team.· CAPEX and brewing projects, be it creation, ownership, collaboration or delegation with the brewing team.· Coordination amongst brewery departments (maturation, filtration, packaging, lab and quality).· Developing and reporting against key performance indicators such as MEL.· Weekly logistics, planning and marketing meetings.· Maintaining and implementation of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents.· NoLo and seasonal brewing trials on 15HL Pilot brewhouse with project brewer.
