Responsible for U.S. distribution of 42 Below Vodka prior to Bacardi purchase of New Zealand entity in 2006.Developed marketing strategies and oversaw implementation in 30 states. Responsilbe for new product development working with foreign suppliers, packaging design and bottler negotiations.

A $21B Fortune 50 company. Implemented consumer relationship marketing program, “McDeals Project” in 96 McDonald's restaurants in Hawaii and North Carolina. Negotiated and closed agreements with national retailers and managed state sweepstakes contests.

Managed a $4 million budget while directing marketing activities for Gallo's sparkling wine portfolio. Responsibilities included creating promotions, product innovation, directing Point-of-Sale development and overall P&L responsibility of the brand.

Held P&L responsibility while directing all sales related activities for Gallo's chain business in Japan. Managed 10 key account executives, five district managers and 40 sales representatives. While holding overall management responsibility for supermarkets, department stores, and chain liquor stores, simplified complex wholesaling relationships and worked within multi-tier distribution systems to ensure efficient product flow and profitability. Case sales grew from 170 thousand to one million cases per year.

Developed a comprehensive recruiting and training program for bilingual sales people in Japan. Integrated Gallo's sales and management classes with the cultural nuances of Japan. Hired and trained a 50 member bilingual sales team, overcoming significant cultural obstacles to ensure consistent promotion of brand identity and achievement of sales goals.

Managed a $1.5 million budget and five direct reports. Oversaw responsibility for recruiting and training the 250 person sales force. Personally conducted the sales and management training programs. Took over recruiting and training responsibilities for the three division sales force that had been experiencing a 40% turnover rate each year. Collaborating with the general sales managers, trainers and senior management, developed a program that included constant feedback, formal 360 evaluations and earlier interventions to increase retention. As a result, turnover decreased 35% and recruiting costs dropped 50%.
