Program and run the NEW Haas TL3 Lathe. Willing and able to run all machines in the machine shop. Use AutoCAD & Solidworks to draw/engineer parts and to update some of the old hand drawn files for the factory parts. Organizing the shop to promote an efficient and clean work area. Assist the supervisors and engineers in fixing, updating, and maintaining many parts and projects in the factory. I also work hand in hand with contractors on specific tasks in the summer months or during the year if the need arises.

Managed and supervised a crew of 6 up to 25 people, depending on the time of year, on many tasks. I was given operating requirements that I had to meet. As a team, we strived to meet and exceed those requirements. I was responsible to train the people on my shift and to ensure that they were all operating in a safe and responsible manner. If something were to go wrong, I was required to complete the necessary paper work and file it appropriately. I was also responsible to solve any problem that came up by using my personal knowledge as well as those around me. I led a safe, responsible, and productive crew.

Trained as needed on machine operations as well as general safety around the shop. From a massive road project, helping out local groups with some funding, flood planning, future project budgeting and planning, and helping out local businesses to name a few. I'm learning everyday and getting great experience in leadership and planning.
