Hr Training & Recruitment
This role involved reporting to the Head of Recruitment & Training, working together with my team to manage the recruitment process to fill positions in the distribution, retail and central operations. Using systems such as Monday, Talos and BT to fill positions, managed recruitment advertising, reviewing job applications, completing telephone screening, interviewing then arranging and overseeing inductions. Building strong relationships both in and outside of the business is important as well to ensure I maximised all opportunities through local initiatives to access the widest pool of candidates for the positions. Completing exit interviews to get a good understanding of what we can improve on in store, in our depots and our central offices. This role also involved a significant amount of independent working. Working on tight deadlines and being able to prioritise and manage my own workload effectively to get the job done.It was down to me to ensure everyone is treated with the utmost courtesy and respect by managing their application promptly and professionally.

Retail Salesperson
This was a full-time customer-facing role, with the prime responsibility being the delivery of exceptional customer service. Other role responsibilities included cash reconciliation, gambling commission objectives, health and safety and marketing adherence. During my time at William Hill, I was given the job role as an Open/Close Assistant. This role involved me covering multiple shops across the region and being in control of keeping the shops to William Hills standard. This role also included the responsibility of making sure other staff members complied with the rules and regulations of the company when on duty. • Translating bets onto EPOS – This meant using my product knowledge to make sure the customers bet was processed correctly. • Balancing and banking daily takings – During the day certain shops can take in substernal amounts of money. Therefore, is unsafe to keep on the premises. For that reason, we needed to balance the tills to make sure the money we have matches the system.
