During my tenure in the retirement and employee benefits industry, I have cultivated a broad and longstanding industry view that enabled me to drive growth and develop forward-looking solutions that led to market-leading business performance and cultural turnarounds. I have led all aspects of defined contribution businesses and created enterprise-wide growth strategies rooted in service innovation.As the Vice Chairman and Chief Growth Officer at Voya Financial, I supported the shape of Voya’s growth strategy, both organic and inorganic, including a robust customer segmentation strategy to align solutions to specific customer and market needs. In my previous role, as CEO of Retirement & Employee Benefits, I led all aspects of the retirement & employee benefits businesses representing more than 12M participants and employee benefit policy holders. I started my career with Great-West Life (now Empower) progressing over three decades to ultimately serve as the organization’s EVP and lead all defined contribution and defined benefit plans.My career has afforded me a full range of leadership experiences, but what has always remained my biggest motivation has been the opportunity to have a positive impact on people’s lives. I am honored to have been a part of helping thousands of individuals protect and save their money—getting the best financial outcomes they can for themselves and their families. I personally felt a responsibility to listen to the needs of plan participants and deliver the most advantageous solutions possible. As I move into my next chapter, I hope to continue to find ways to educate and support others in achieving a future of financial wellness.
