Responsible for various tasks including case filings, client inquiries, legal research, directing in- and outbound phone calls, and tracking down clients. I was also tasked with reviewing, editing, and formatting Attorney correspondence as well as Common Interest Development CC&Rs. I was able to sit in on court appearances, giving me first-hand exposure to both sides of the civil litigation of legal disputes regarding real estate.

My job consisted of performing comparable property analyses. I identified and compared the key variables that contribute to the financial value and pricing of mixed-use (multi-family & retail) properties, through quantitative and qualitative analysis of that specific property type. I also received experience in development proposals through researching, analyzing, and synthesizing specific statistics in order to strengthen a case for the redevelopment of a property.

My primary project was to convert old and current case files into digital and to make them accessible through a secure online cloud-based data storage platform. The purpose of this was to create a more easily navigable database, to diminish high storage costs, and to maximize usable office space. I sat in on various meetings and court appearances, giving me exposure to attorney-client relationships. I also performed various daily tasks including filing, sorting and sending mail, casefile summarization, and Microsoft Excel data entry and formulation.
