Charlie is a Highly Qualified Master teacher with extensive experience as an elementary teacher. He is a graduate of the highly accredited University of Minnesota's accelerated Masters Program, acknowledged for its College of Education and Human Development. Charlie started his elementary career at a small charter school in East Tucson, after teaching for several years he saw the need for valuable and useful professional development trainings and became a certified Time To Teach Associate Trainer. Shortly after that he started InnovatED Consulting, LLC; a education consultation company. Charlie aspires to continue traveling along the career path of an educator, teaching educators and administrators how to effectively improve the education of their students through behavioral education, self-control, unconditional positive regard, and timely and effective consequences in order to maintain behavioral momentum in the classroom. He specializes in classroom management, and school-wide behavior plans. He helps schools develop these plans and strategies through professional development trainings, and effectively reduces minor problem behavioral referrals by 80% or more through the Time To Teach methods and strategies. After 25 years of data collection the facts show that the Time to Teach strategies implemented in schools not only decrease behavior referrals by 80% or more, but also correlate directly to an increase in student achievement, as well as an increase in teacher and administrator satisfaction.
