Company: Attention and Emotion measurement tech, primarily focussed on advertising. VC backed with > €30m raised in equity and debt funding. Revenue is a mixture of SaaS, Data Licensing and Bespoke Service. Revenue growth tripled from 2018 to 2022. Headcount of 80 across 5 countries. My experience: Working alongside the CEO, I run the financial and legal teams of Realeyes. I have brought in and built out our financial function, operating as a highly capable team, providing punctual management information, meeting statutory requirements, budgeting and carefully managing working capital. Hired the Companies first inhouse lawyer, to ensure we meet all critical data privacy compliance, implementing a process to ensure all our products meet European and US data laws. Commercial review IP protection and all legal documentation for the Group’s corporate and governance needs fall under my remit.Careful budgeting, forecasting and cash management have been key requirements for this business. I have been heavily involved with three financing rounds, to enable the Company to continue its path in developing deep tech, as it positions for growth. This process included clear and credible modelling, keeping a current data room, and pitching to investors.I work side by side with the CRO and CMO, overseeing pipeline and the full sales funnel through to closed deals. My team plays a key part in sales forecasting, setting targets and commissions. I work very closely with our COO and HR team in resourcing and planning. As well as our exec team generally, in setting the agenda with how each product line is supported with limited resource. I have developed excellent relationships with all my colleagues, the Board and the employees, as proven by high scoring in all internal peer reviews.

Company: Fintech technology that drives price comparison engines (eg Compare the Market). Privately owned and sold to Experian. Revenue was integrating and licensing large scale fintech solutions; at £5m in 2014; grew to £14m in 2018. Team grew from 60 to 150 in 4 yearsExperience: As Finance Director of this Fintech company, I started as the first finance team member and built out a team and processes. Played a key part in the acquisition of a complementary business, which combined with Runpath’s technology led to the eventual sale of the business to Experian. Strong cash-flow management was key to the business, which I actively supervised. I was responsible for all financial reporting of the company, including board packs, budgets, and forecasts. As part of the senior management team, I played an active part in reviewing sales pipeline, resource planning and strategy decisioning.
